Glued structural beam

It is known that wood has twice the tensile strength relative to steel and greater compressive strength than concrete. That is why glued beams are an excellent building material. The main areas of application of glued beams in construction are truss systems, trusses, ceilings, power frames of industrial and civil buildings, as well as beams are widely used in interior design.

Quality Standard

EN 14080-quality certificate issued by the European center HOLZ FORSCHUNG (Austria). In the production of glued materials, Akzo Nobel glue is used, which has an E1 emission class, meaning that the formaldehyde content is lower than the natural background of the environment. The glue has a sanitary and hygienic certificate. Glued structural beams are made of several lamellas, specially selected and laid in a certain direction, by pressing.

Raw material quality control

Since the requirements for structural load-bearing elements are high, the raw materials in the production of beams undergo a serious multi-stage quality control. Glued structural beams can be made in a variety of straight and curved configurations, so such beams offer architects artistic freedom without compromising structural requirements.
Load-bearing large-span structures made of glued wood-it is possible to construct overlaps of large spans for bridges, a variety of buildings and structures (shopping and sports and entertainment complexes, water parks, swimming pools, hangars, warehouses).

The maximum length of laminated structural beams is 40 ft (12,000 mm). It is possible to manufacture laminated beams with a height of up to 6.5 ft (2,000 mm)
